The Springbok were ready for another tough 80 minutes against a tenacious Los Pumas out – here’s what Rassie Erasmus said leading up to the match.
“The Pumas have beaten the All Blacks, Wallabies, and the British & Irish Lions this season, and it would be a big target for them to defeat us as well, so its going to be another Grind.”
Captain Siya Kolisi summed it up best:
“We know how to fight as a team and dig deep.”
And dig deep they did, sealing back-to-back Championship titles and writing another proud chapter in Springbok history.
