SA Rugby Travel traces its roots back to Indo Jet Sports, the official travel provider for the historic Rugby World Cup 1995. In 2013, Indo Jet Sports was rebranded as SA Rugby Travel following the formation of a joint venture between the South African Rugby Union and Tourvest Destination Management, with a dedicated focus on rugby travel, tours, and incentives.

Operating as part of the Sports Division within Tourvest Destination Management, SA Rugby Travel began trading in early 2014. The first major event activated under the new brand was Rugby World Cup 2015 in England, where SA Rugby Travel was appointed as the exclusive Official Travel Agent in South Africa. Since then, we have continued to grow our international presence, securing appointments as:

• Official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan
• Official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 in South Africa
• Official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup 2023 in France
